The new Yachtspot v3 firmware builds on the features that were added in Yachtspot Marine WiFi v2, with further enhancements to help speed up log on times in very congested networks.

On both the "Easy logon" and "Advanced logon" pages we've added an embedded web
application which provides updates on the status of the wifi connection during the log on process.
The updates are displayed without refreshing the page, or requiring any action on the part of the user.
"Under the hood", the log on process has been completely rewritten to speed it up, and make it more aggressive in very lossy, and highly contested wireless environments.
This is an entirely automatic process which requires no configuration, or user interaction.

Finally, on the "Advanced logon" page there is an additional icon indicating the level of "Frequency
Contention"
